Thank you for this post. It's amazing to know that you can read Substack texts on a Kindle e-reader.

Hi Chris, here's a short little video I did demonstrating how I use Instapaper to send posts to my Kindle. I like the option of having 10 posts at a time in one file.

Any way to get this to work with paywalled content (which I'm paying for)?

I only get the pre-paywall text from my substack shares to kindle, and have to go back to my substack app or the website to read the whole thing. Thank you

It's logical, otherwise people would abuse it, right?

I've paid for the content.

I'm not suggesting that non-payers be allowed to view paid content.

I am suggesting that paid subscribers like myself be allowed to transfer to Kindle the content for which they've paid.

This seems more like a technical hurdle than a moral one.

This is actually what I kind of referred to, i.e. functionality from technical point of view. I am saying that Substack is blocking access to the resources without proper authentication, which is practically what we are doing here.

I don't know if this is deliberate action taken by Substack, or an oversight.

Hmmm. Didn't work for me. On my Kindle, it gave me link to the post. But, it didn't provide the text for the post. Pretty much useless.
