I love this Chris. I love that you finish with Monty Python - brilliant 😂. We make our own luck in life in ways that you have detailed very well. It’s all about getting the right vibration to attract good things. Optimism, gratitude, intention and action all feed into raising your vibration.

I’m dumb. What’s javanese? This post reminds me of Dave Ramsey, who is quite wealthy and created Ramsey Solutions. He said people tell him he’s lucky and he says “luck has nothing to do with it!” No one sees the hard work behind the scenes. Life is filled with daily choices. Those choices add up! Do bad things happen despite our best efforts? Sure. But it’s not bad luck. It’s called life. We aren’t guaranteed only good days but we appreciate them more because of the bad days.

This is great.

Seneca said “Luck Is What Happens When Preparation Meets Opportunity". I think that is right in line with some of what you are saying. People who succeed are the people who are driven to succeed and do the work to take advantage of the opportunities that came along.

Exactly. I had Seneca's quote also on my list, but I didn't include it here in favour of others.

Javanese is how we called people who were born in the island of Java, in Indonesia.

Ramsey's quote was on my mind also the whole time I wrote this post.
